Miss Juliana (she/her), is a dancer, choreographer and dance educator. Miss Juliana has been fulfilling the role of Rehearsal Director for Nozama Dance Collective since 2021 and has been a member of the company since 2017. Juliana has performed with Urbanity Underground and has trained with various other companies, including Martha Graham Dance Company. Juliana received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Buffalo and received her Masters of Arts in Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University. Originally from Albany, NY, Juliana began teaching and choreographing at the age of 15. Juliana is currently the tap, jazz and contemporary curriculum director as well as the contemporary company director. Full time during the week, Juliana is a registered dance/movement therapist and an outpatient therapist, using person- centered and strengths based frameworks to aid her clients in their personal healing journeys.
